MISSION STATEMENT

“To educate Hill Country adults to be active contributors in the life of the community.”

OUR VISION

“A community whose residents are literate, responsible and productive.”

WHAT WE BELIEVE

Literacy has the power to reduce crime, unemployment rates, discrimination, injustice, and dependence on public assistance. The men and women who gather their courage and come to us desperately want to learn and are willing to commit to long hours studying each week.

What We Do

We help individuals raise their ability to read, write, and speak proficiently in English, and to understand and solve problems, thereby raising his or her ability to function on the job, in the family, and in society.
