2007 to
be released in August. About the GED The GED test consists of five subtests, which are
writing, social studies, science, literature and math. Anyone 18 or older
may take the test. Seventeen year-olds may take the test if they are not
enrolled in school ad have parental or guardian permission Examinees must
present a picture ID and Social Security card. The number of students
testing is limited, so early registration is recommended. Call (830)
896-8787 regarding test sites and other information. GED Test PreparationClasses Monday & Wednesday 6-9 p.m. The LAST day of classes is June 7th. After a summer break classes resume on September 6th. We give a shortened test that helps you see whether you need more practice. Cost is only $15. Please allow yourself 1 ˝ to

chances for adults who want to further basic literacy skills of reading
and writing as well as basic math skills. Tutors work with students on a
personal level as well as through computerized instruction in our computer
lab. Cost for tutoring is only $35 per semester. English as a Second LanguageFor adults who wish to learn or improve their speaking, reading and writing skills in the English language. Love and LogicParenting class designed to help you find the right answers and actions for some of those difficult moments during child rearing. For Kid’s SakeNurturing children through the transitions of divorce or separation. This is one-session seminar held on the fourth Saturday of the month. Cost is $40 per person. The focus of future training will be on the learning styles of adults and tips on teaching basic literacy, math and language skills. After completing mandatory training, tutors will observe an experienced tutor in action with a student. Pre-registration required. Tutor Training to be held in August.
