Upon his retirement, they built their dream home in Kerrville.

The couple raised two children, Diane and Justin. Diane Wilson Macias is a registered nurse in Austin and the mother of their two grandchildren, Jonathan, 6, and McKynzie, 4. Son Justin Wilson is a welder in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

Paula currently works as a Career Development Specialist at Schreiner University and honored to sit on the board of Families & Literacy, Inc. as Vice President. She also is blessed to serve Kerr County Women’s Chamber as a board member, finding great satisfaction working with the City of Kerrville, on the Chamber’s Christmas lighting and decorations project at Tranquility Island. Paula displays her enthusiasm and energy in every position she undertakes.

When she is not involved with public service, Paula enjoys spoiling her grandchildren, scrapbooking, and cruising around the Hill Country with Robert on his Harley Davidson.
