Adult students above the 8th grade skill level prepare to earn a high school equivalency
certificate through this twelve-week class covering reading, writing, math, science
and social studies. Registration Fee: $20.00 - 17 weeks
Adult Basic Education/Pre-GED
Adults improve skills primarily in reading, language arts and math through the 8th
grade level. - 16 weeks
English as a Second Language (ESL)
Adults learn and improve listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in English.
Classes are divided into five different levels of instruction. - 16 weeks
Adults prepare for U.S. Citizenship. Course includes test practice, actual INS application
forms and a study guide. - 16 weeks
A six-week course to help parents raise responsible children with good decision-making
skills: children who are self-confident, capable, motivated and ready for the real
world. Participants who utilize class-taught principles see that parenting and teaching
can be fun and rewarding, instead of stressful and chaotic. $60.00
Designed for divorcing or separating parents, this half-day class provides strategies
to help both parents and children through difficult times and transitions. This
is a court-mandated class for divorcing parents with children under the age of 18.
