Lew was born in Dallas, Texas in 1961. He attended Texas A&M University and graduated in 1983 with a Business Management Degree.
His professional career started in the travel industry and evolved into commercial real estate sales and development, residential mortgage lending, and financial services.
Additionally, he has owned several businesses involving computer hardware and printing supplies. It is his entrepreneurial spirit that has seen him recently retire as a financial advisor to pursue the purchase and development of the Hero Card.
He and Brandy, his wife of 28 years, moved to Kerrville in 2002 looking for an active small town to raise their three boys, two of which have now graduated from TIVY with the third attending there now.
When not working, Lew loves to golf, travel and snow ski (one year he skied 52 days!), as well as spend time volunteering with the local Young Life Group. In fact, he plans to participate in this year’s Polar Bear Challenge where all the proceeds will go directly to Young Life Summer Camp expenses.
