Families & Literacy, Inc. is a nonprofit organization located in Kerrville, Texas, and serving the surrounding area with low-cost adult classes and tutoring in Adult Basic Education, English As A Second Language, GED, Parenting, and U.S. Citizenship.

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization serving Kerr, Bandera, Gillespie, Kendall, and Kimble Counties.

We are here:

  • To provide an opportunity for adult students to better themselves through education
  • To act as a connector between businesses and students seeking job- related education
  • To act as a conduit for community philanthropy in adult education

Kerrville Host Lions Funds Families & Literacy, Inc.
October 18, 2017

Kerrville – Kerrville Host Lions Club President Ron Curry presents a check for $500.00 to Families & Literacy, Inc. Board President Jeff Wendling at a recent Lions Club meeting. “On behalf of the students at F&L, thank you for your donation.  We will use these funds to help with tuition costs and books.” explained Wendling.
Lions Clubs International is the world’s largest service club organization with more than 1.4 million members in approximately 46,000 clubs in more than 200 countries and geographical areas around the world. The local club meets each Tuesday at noon at the Kroc Center.

Together we can make a difference.
